Cecilia Gallogly

Ceci is a sophomore in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Economics. She is from Glen Mills, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia. In high school, she was known for her impersonation of former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, openly conservative views, and was voted Most Likely to be President.

She has been interested in politics from a young age, having listened to Rush Limbaugh with her mother en route to preschool every day. She is a passionate defender of free market capitalism and laissez-faire economic policies. Additionally, she believes in the sanctity of marriage, the right to life, and that the poor should be helped primarily through private organizations, not government programs. As her hero, Ronald Reagan, said, “Government is not the solution to our problem, government IS the problem.”

In her free time, she enjoys reading conservative blogs and watching Fox New’s “Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld.” She can also be found on Capitol Hill as an intern for Congressman Aaron Schock (R-IL).
