Carlos Vazquez

Carlos Vazquez is a junior, double majoring in Political Science and Latin American and Hemispheric Studies. Born in Cuba, Carlos grew up in Naples, Florida where his passion for conservative politics took root. During high school, he served as Chairman of his county’s Teenage Republicans, and Secretary for the Florida Federation of Teenage Republicans. Having lived under a communist regime for nine years, Carlos zealously values freedom, free market economics, and conservative social values.

This is Carlos’ third year on the YAF e-board, during which he hopes to promote conservative values on campus in an effort to counteract the university’s liberal bias. He is dedicated to spreading the message of conservatism, and making the university a more open stage for dialogue and diversity.

Carlos enjoys being a political junkie, and plans to attend law school where he will continue spreading the conservative message.
